Imagine a real life hulk! Well… almost.
Called for a divine purpose of leading his people but his complacency with the seductive Delilah cost him his life. He never thought something so beautiful & pleasurable would be his downfall. The first step to winning this war is to identify the enemy. Knowing porn is your enemy brings you so much closer to victory.

Keep away from places that set off triggers. Walking on a minefield, will cause the mines to explode, playing with fire will you get burned.

God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear.

He needed God. In spite of Pharaoh's refusal, Mosses never gave up. Eventually Pharaoh's army ended up doing the dead man's float. 

You cannot do this on your own. You need help! Send out the SOS. Call for help.

King David was feeling a little lazy to do what a warrior had to do. He sent his army on a campaign and he decided to stay back, instead of leading them. He got so bored at home and ended up catching a glimpse of Bathsheba bathing on a rooftop. He soon could not take his mind of her, more sin quickly followed. Lust turned to abuse of power & murder & adultry soon followed, driving an entire kingdom into chaos.

One of the best ways to fight a bad habit it to develop new healthy habits, or simply do what we are supposed to do. An idle mind is surely the devil's workshop.

The enemy wants you to think you are alone, an age old tactic he uses; to divide and conquer. Be accountable to someone. Openness is a way we can avoid being tricked by our justifications. Accountability keeps us from being deceived. 

Take the disciples for example, ordinary people just like us, they had Jesus!  Peter had Paul, had Barnabas, Paul also mentors Timothy.  Elisha looked up to Elijah, ends up doing twice as much as his mentor.

Confessing leads to repentance, repentance leads to change. Look for someone who you can confide in: A friend, a brother/ sister,  youth pastor… someone wise, someone who cares, someone who wouldn't take you for a ride. With effort, in time God will turn your trial into a testimony, through which you will be a source of encouragement to others.

As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.
